Privacy Policy

Infurmation ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Infurmation mobile application and website at infurmation.app (collectively, the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Infurmation is operated by Grant Heavey, an individual developer based in the United States.

The Service is intended for users who are 13 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us at infurmationapp@gmail.com and we will delete that information promptly.

4.1 Information You Provide Directly

When you create an account and use the Service, you provide:

• Account information — your email address and password (passwords are hashed and never stored in plain text)
• Pet profiles — pet name, species, breed, age, nickname, and a photo or emoji avatar
• Pet sections — information you enter about your pet including health history, medications, vaccinations, allergies, daily routines, feeding schedules, behavioural traits, emergency contacts, and any custom sections you create
• Share links — labels and personal notes you attach to share links you generate

4.2 Information We Collect Automatically

When you use the Service, we collect:

• Usage data — which screens you visit, when share links are viewed, and when profiles are accessed via public share links
• Device information — your device type and operating system version (collected by our infrastructure provider, Supabase)

4.3 Information We Do Not Collect

We do not collect:

• Location data
• Contacts
• Browsing history
• Advertising identifiers
• Analytics or crash reporting data beyond what our infrastructure provider logs
• Any data from third-party social networks

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide the Service — store and display your pet profiles, generate share links, and serve public profile pages to recipients you choose
• Authenticate your account — verify your identity when you sign in
• Operate the Service — track when share links are viewed so you can see usage in the app
• Communicate with you — respond to support requests you send us
• Improve the Service — understand general usage patterns to make product decisions

We do not use your information for advertising. We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.

6.1 Database and Authentication

Your account and all pet profile data is stored with Supabase (Supabase Inc., United States), a managed PostgreSQL database and authentication platform. All data access is protected by Row Level Security policies, which ensure only your authenticated account can read or write your own data. Supabase's privacy policy is available at supabase.com/privacy.

6.2 File Storage

Pet avatar photos you upload are stored in Supabase Storage. Photos are accessible via a direct URL and are stored at {your_user_id}/{pet_id}.jpg within the bucket. Only photos you explicitly upload are stored.

6.3 Payment Processing

Lifetime purchase payments are processed by RevenueCat (RevenueCat Inc., United States). We do not handle or store your payment card details. RevenueCat's privacy policy is available at revenuecat.com/privacy.

6.4 Rate Limiting

Public profile pages are rate-limited using Upstash, which temporarily stores your IP address to enforce rate limits. IP addresses are not retained beyond the rate-limit window. Upstash's privacy policy is available at upstash.com/trust/privacy.pdf.

When you create a share link and send it to someone, the recipient can view your pet's profile at a unique URL. You are in full control:

• You choose which sections are visible on each link
• You can revoke any link at any time, immediately preventing further access
• You can see when each link was last viewed

When a share link is viewed, we record the timestamp of the most recent view. We do not record the viewer's identity, IP address, or any other information about who viewed the link.

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we permanently delete all pet profiles, section data, share links, and authentication credentials. Account deletion is immediate and cannot be undone.

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data: access, correction, deletion, and portability. You can update your data directly in the app, or delete your account via Settings → Delete Account.

California residents: Under the CCPA, you have the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information.

We do not use Google Analytics, Firebase, Mixpanel, Meta Pixel, or any advertising networks.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
